Ruby Bowerman, 96, Steele, died on April 3, 2022.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 11 at Steele Trinity Lutheran Church, 203 Mitchell Ave S, Steele.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday April 10 with a prayer service starting at 6:00 p.m. at Eastgate Steele Memorial Chapel, 518 Mitchell Ave N, Steele.

Ruby was born on November 20, 1925. She lived a full life and eventually retired from civil service from AAA Selective Service and the federal highway. She also worked for Otto Wolpert insurance, as a medical clerk and as a receptionist for a Social Services, Springan and Dakota Eye Clinic.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Bruce Bowerman, stepchildren, Steve (Teresa) Bowerman; and Gary Bowerman; grandchildren, Scott Mittleider, Brad Mittleider and Janelle Bowerman; and her great-grandchildren, Tia Mittleider, Chase Mittleider, Bentley Mittleider and Savannah Mittleider.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Paul Ritchie; daughter, Paulette Mittleider; son, David Ritchie; brother, George; and sisters, Norma, Ione and Doreen

She will be missed by all of those who she impacted over the years.
