Suzanne Pederson

March 14, 1954 — September 12, 2022

Suzanne (Sue) Marie Pederson, 68, Bismarck, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at St. Gabriel’s Community.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 22, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church, 214 E. Thayer Ave, Bismarck. The family will begin greeting guests one hour prior to service. 

Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery with her parents at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2022.

Suzanne was born on March 14, 1954 in Crookston, Minnesota. She graduated from West Fargo High School in 1973 and attended business college.

Suzanne worked numerous jobs in the Fargo area after college.  Her most recent position was with the Veterans Administration in Fargo as a Pharmacy Tech.  She loved to play bingo and was employed by Big Top Bingo in Fargo for period of time as well. 

Suzanne moved to the Bismarck/Mandan area in 2003 for health reasons. Her home for the last ten years was St. Gabriel’s Community in Bismarck. She was one of their first four residents, arriving there in 2012. Suzanne was dearly loved by the staff of St. Gabriel’s. She loved them too and often called them by special names such as, “Toots and Girlie”.  In turn, they called her Suzie Q.  Suzanne’s family is forever grateful for the wonderful care Suzanne received at St. Gabriel’s. 

Suzanne is survived by her son, Travis (Ashley) Pederson, Mandan and two grandchildren, Ruby and Rylee, and her daughter, Heather Amundson, Arizona; her brothers, Russ (Becky) Pederson , Fort Meyers, FL and Randy Pederson, Bismarck; and her sisters, Claudia (Dan) Hennebry, Little Elm, TX; Patty (Steve) Aakre, West Fargo; and Becky (Dennis) Rosenkranz, Bismarck. 

Suzanne will forever be remembered by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence E. and Ruby C. Pederson, Fargo and her grandparents.
