Food for the Soul

The "Food for the Soul" Monthly Dinner Party is held on the first Tuesday of each month. Cooking and eating alone after the loss of a spouse is basically the "sixth Stage of Grief." The feelings of sadness and loss when you are the only one at the table are not often addressed. Church of Corpus Christi would like to change this. They create a community of friendship and support and help assure you that there is always room at the table. Food will be provided, but feel free to bring something if you have missed cooking for more than one person. Guests will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Church of Corpus Christi, 1919 N Second St., Bismarck, in the Community Room. For more information, please contact Sr. Idelle Badt at 701-255-4600.
